TIM FORGY
Tim Forgy is an assistant pastor of the Longview Baptist Temple. As the Pastoral Youth Assistant, he coordinates all youth activities and helps in all matters concerning the Teen Department.
DR. RICHARD HITT
Dr. Richard Hitt is the director of Independent Baptist World Missions, the missionary sending and support agency of Longview Baptist Temple. He also oversees the Jail Ministry - reaching state penitentiaries, county jails, and juvenile detention centers with the Gospel. Richard Hitt pastored for 20 years before coming to Longview, and has been working under the ministries of the Longview Baptist Temple for 20 years.
DR. JOE KOENIG
Dr. Joe Koenig is the Music Director of the Longview Baptist Temple, directing the Temple Choir and Orchestra as well as congregational singing. Dr. Koenig is also the Principal of Longview Baptist Academy, a private Christian school for students from the Sunday bus ministry.
DEXTER LANDERS
Dexter Landers is the Benevolence Pastor of the Longview Baptist Temple in charge of Assistance Requests. He has a love for soul winning and oversees the Thursday morning soul winning meeting as well as the street preaching in downtown Longview, Texas.
DR. ROBERT QUEEN
Dr. Robert Queen is the Senior Saints Pastor of the Longview Baptist Temple. In addition to assisting with hospital visitation, he is currently the Security Director of the church. Dr. Queen has three years experience as a pastor and has been involved with LBT church work for 28 years.
JOHN ROBINSON
John Robinson is an assistant pastor of the Longivew Baptist Temple. He is the director of Temple Publications and manages The Temple Bookstore. Brother Robinson is on staff with Generation One Bible Club’s working with public school students. John Robinson oversees all youth and teen choirs and is superintendent of the King’s Kids Club program.
DR. DOS ROSSOUW
Dr. Dos Rossouw is the Bus Director of Longview Baptist Temple, a ministry that brings hundreds to church each Sunday from all over East Texas and parts of Louisiana. Dr. Rossouw is also the Executive Vice-President of Texas Baptist College.
DR. JEFF WALTERS
Dr. Jeff Walters is the outreach director of Longview Baptist Temple. He also heads the America for Christ ministry. In 2009, this ministry traveled 42,734 miles, had 11,257 salvations, and 2,486 baptisms. He is also the director of the church’s food pantry which distributed 71,000 lbs. of groceries to 3,200 families in 2009.
PASTOR BOB GRAY II
Pastor Bob Gray II was called to be the pastor of the Longview Baptist Temple on December 17, 2008. Pastor Gray II became the sixth pastor when he succeeded his father, Dr. Bob Gray Sr., who pastored the church for twenty-nine years. Pastor Gray II and his father made the final transition with an installment service on Sunday night, March 1, 2009.
Before becoming the pastor of the Longview Baptist Temple, Pastor Gray II served as the youth pastor. Under his leadership, the LBT teenagers have been used by the Lord to see over 260,000 people won to Christ, with over 30,000 of those following the Lord in baptism. He also established National Teen Convention which is held annually in June. In the summer of 2010, Pastor Bob Gray II was voted as “East Texas Best Minister” by readers of the Longview News-Journal.
Pastor Gray II attended Texas Baptist College of Longview, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Christian Ministries and a Master of Theology Degree. Pastor Gray II also received honorary doctorates from both Texas Baptist College and Faith Baptist College in Athens, Alabama.
Pastor Gray II and his wife, Kelly, have been married for 23 years. They have three children: DeAnna 21, R.G. 19, and Jordan 15.
